No, original game was about Nekohakase who invented time machine to travel with her friends on various adventures but mouses stole it and cats had to retrieve it. Original game had RPG, tower defense, and co-op mode from what I heard in Twitter but Cat Busters Collections is memorial app and focuses on machine repairing, cat and puzzle piece collecting and doesn't have story mode at all, original game ended it's service on March 31st 2018.
